Matt Aslett, Analyst, 451 Research
As research manager for data management and analytics within 451 Research’s Information Management practice, Matt has overall responsibility for the coverage of operational and analytic databases, data integration, data quality, and business intelligence. Matt’s own primary area of focus is on relational and non-relational databases, data warehousing, data caching, and Hadoop. Matthew is also an expert in open source software and regularly contributes to 451 Research’s open source-related research. Prior to joining The 451 Group, Matthew was Deputy Editor of monthly magazine Computer Business Review and ComputerWire’s daily news service. Matthew started in IT journalism in 1997 as a staff writer with monthly magazine Unix and NT News, where he became editor in 2000. He has also contributed to a number of other publications. Matthew holds a BA in Multimedia Journalism from Bournemouth University in the UK.

Currently working at Telenor Norway as a system area architect, Sebastian is responsible for business services in the mobile value chain. The last year he has been working on a project looking into how such services better can support search and retrieval of large dynamic data sets by the clients.
Prem Malhotra, Director Enterprise Architecture and Master Data Management Services at Cisco
Prem Malhotra is the Director of Enterprise Architecture at Cisco Systems, focusing on Business Intelligence and Data Services. Mr. Malhotra is responsible for application architecture and team management for delivering software products in the enterprise space. His key achievements in the areas include: MDM for Customer/ Product/ Hierarchies, constraint-based configuration, product pricing, CRM, and collaboration. Mr. Malhotra has more than 19 years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing large scale enterprise systems and is now also focusing on social collaboration domains in addition to engineering and product management for high availability SaaS products. He received his Ph.D in Computer Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and his Masters in Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur.
